We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and is pivotal in supporting our executive and business line leaders in making informed, data-driven decisions that drive sustainable financial performance.

The Corporate FP&A team plays a crucial role in internal executive reporting, strategic planning, and addressing ad hoc analytical requests. This position provides significant exposure to executive management and insights into the organization's financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create presentations for executives and board members that highlight key financial trends.
  • Generate monthly financial reports tailored for an executive audience.
  • Lead the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes, managing timelines across various departments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on impactful financial items.
  • Conduct ad hoc analytical requests as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities, including INDEX-MATCH, XLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Hyperion for reporting and planning is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking products and financial statements is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the banking capital regulatory environment is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency is essential.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience with SQL for data manipulation is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required; additional experience is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree may substitute for experience.
