We are currently in search of a dedicated and skilled Environmental Compliance Manager who is eager to contribute their expertise and enthusiasm to our team.

Role Overview:

As an Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and executing projects related to environmental planning, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and offering critical insights on environmental impacts.

This role presents a unique blend of challenges and rewards, necessitating outstanding project management abilities, keen attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of environmental policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage environmental planning projects while ensuring adherence to compliance regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental impact matters.
  • Support project managers in navigating the regulatory and permitting processes for various projects.
  • Conduct NEPA analyses, particularly with federal land management agencies.
  • Prepare and process permit applications at county, state, and federal levels.
  • Engage with governmental bodies and agencies to facilitate project approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in environmental science, urban/regional planning, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental assessments and regulatory compliance in the U.S.
  • Exceptional research, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members across various locations.
  • Strong task management skills for scoping and overseeing project teams and deliverables.
  • Commitment to safety and proactive hazard mitigation.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience with land use permits and project management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal land management agency requirements is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a plus.

Compensation:

Salary will be commensurate with experience, with a range reflecting the candidate's qualifications and expertise.
