Position Overview: The role entails overseeing the external sales of corporate deposit accounts along with a comprehensive suite of Treasury products and services. The individual will cultivate strong relationships with external clients and collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective solutions tailored to client requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the external sales efforts for business deposit accounts and Treasury Management offerings.
  • Engage in sales outreach to both existing and prospective clients in collaboration with commercial lending relationship managers and branch leaders, while also independently generating leads.
  • Evaluate deposit statements from various financial institutions, develop detailed proposals, and present these to current and potential clients.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients to foster and enhance relationships.
  • Address intricate issues by assessing their significance and providing viable solution options that align with client needs.
  • Install and troubleshoot remote deposit capture devices, ACH services, online wire transfers, and other Treasury products as necessary.
  • Cross-sell additional offerings from other divisions such as Investments, Insurance, and Trust services.
  • Maintain a visible presence in the community through active participation in service organizations and local events.
  • Assist the Treasury Management division and Commercial Lending with various tasks as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in banking, including at least two (2) years in Treasury Management or Retail Banking with a proven track record in external sales.
  • Demonstrated sales proficiency.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of treasury and cash management products and services.
  • Strong presentation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet navigation, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently using reliable personal transportation.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Exemplary judgment and decision-making skills, along with effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
  • Competence in operating standard office equipment.
