Job Title: Golf Course Operations Manager

At Golf Den LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Course Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our golf course, ensuring that our facilities and services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and train golf staff, including site leads, to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality golf experiences.
  • Develop and enforce inspection and quality assurance standards, procedures, and methods to maintain the highest level of quality and consistency.
  • Formulate, install, and enforce operations standards to ensure efficient and effective management of golf course operations.
  • Develop, audit, and evaluate materials management systems, policies, procedures, and controls to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of all our products, business lines, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue targets, to ensure the golf course is operating within budget and achieving its financial goals.
  • Build relationships within the community and engage in local marketing efforts to promote the golf course and attract new customers.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, including the CEO, to ensure alignment and support for golf course operations.
  • Drive revenue growth through attendance at high-value events, league nights, tournaments, and other initiatives.
  • Establish operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, and determining production, productivity, quality, customer-service, safety, security, and health strategies.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, hotel, or golf course/club management.
  • Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example.
  • Exemplary communication, time management, and organization skills.
  • Social and interpersonal skills required to cultivate meaningful relationships with customers.
  • Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology.
  • Upbeat energy and enthusiasm, with a cheerful outlook.
  • Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment.
  • Availability to be present in the space at high-value times.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and maneuver up and down stairs.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Typical Mental Demands: Ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Must understand people from all walks of life and be able to communicate effectively with them.
