Interim Director of Human Services

The Interim Director of Human Resources will serve as a strategic advisor to the organization, providing guidance on human resource management and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in recruitment, talent management, and employee relations.
The Interim Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. This will include managing employee relations, recruitment, and retention, as well as providing guidance on employment law and regulations.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required, with a minimum of three years of progressive HR experience in a healthcare or hospital organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a rural and/or critical access hospital setting, with a strong understanding of Joint Commission regulations and collective bargaining unit experience. The position is an interim role, with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
- Manage employee relations, recruitment, and retention
- Provide guidance on employment law and regulations
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage personnel files and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a positive and productive work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of progressive HR experience in a healthcare or hospital organization
- Experience in a rural and/or critical access hospital setting
