The Opportunity: As our Human Resources Director, you'll partner with HRBPs and COEs to design and implement strategic HR initiatives that drive business growth and employee engagement. Your expertise in employee relations, talent development, and HR process improvement will be instrumental in supporting our rapid growth and commercialization efforts.
  • You'll serve as a subject matter expert in employee relations and workplace policies, collaborating closely with our people managers, HRBPs, Compliance, and Legal teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • In partnership with HRBP, you'll provide one-on-one mentoring and development feedback to our people managers on managing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and evaluating job performance.
  • You'll lead the development and implementation of qualitative and quantitative measures to track the effectiveness of ER processes, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Partnering with COEs, you'll design and deliver training programs to equip our people managers and employees with conflict resolution skills and best practices.
  • You'll develop guidelines, policies, and procedures for handling issues and investigations, ensuring compliance with applicable employment and labor laws.
  • Other key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and taking on special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR/Employee Relations experience in a high-growth biotech or pharmaceutical organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose organizational issues and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of US employment law, HR compliance, and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coaching certification and/or leadership training.
  • Experience delivering training to managers on topics related to team member coaching and performance management.
  • Experience as an employee relations expert in a similarly sized biotech company, with rapid growth and commercialization.
