Key Responsibilities- Advocate and Educator: Serve as a patient advocate and educator, providing guidance and support to patients and their families throughout the surgery and cancer continuum.
- Communication Facilitator: Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate information about their care.
- Resource Coordinator: Connect patients with resources and social support systems, helping them to navigate the healthcare system and access the services they need.
- Clinical Expert: Provide competent clinical care to patients during office visits, and serve as a content expert in the specialty practice in which they are responsible.
- Problem Solver: Identify and address barriers to care that might prevent patients from receiving timely and appropriate treatment.
- Education: RN (Associates, Diploma, BSN)
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a related field (Surgery/Oncology)
- Skills: Good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and strong critical thinking skills
- Licenses and Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
