Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intake Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for greeting clients, responding to inquiries, and providing assistance with the admissions process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients seeking housing assistance, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist applicants with completing applications for assisted housing residency, ensuring accurate and complete information is provided.
  • Interview applicants to determine eligibility for admission or continued occupancy, and explain the application process and requirements.
  • Direct applicants in securing necessary verification and documentation of eligibility factors, and contact external sources as needed to obtain additional information.
  • Maintain accurate records and update automated systems with applicant information, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations.
  • Operate data entry software and tools to transcribe application data, requiring skilled use of the keyboard and attention to detail.
  • Participate in testing and debugging new data programs, and make changes as needed to ensure accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Provide guidance and training to other employees on complex assignments, and share knowledge and expertise to support team goals.
  • Compile statistics and reports on daily admissions activities, and contribute to the development of project deadlines and job scheduling.
