Job Summary:

MedStar Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Coordinator to provide exceptional customer service to patients in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for patients, greeting them with a warm and professional demeanor.

  • Manage patient intake, screen for emergent conditions, register patients, verify and explain patient responsibility for payment.

  • Perform check-in and check-out procedures, inputting patient charges and verifying demographic and insurance information.

  • Coordinate efficient patient flow through the medical office, ensuring a smooth and timely experience.

  • Support organizational initiatives related to new technology, clinical programs, and improving the patient experience.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience providing high-quality customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • ICD 9 and 10 Code experience preferred.

  • CPR Certification.

Compensation: This position has a hiring range of $18.33 - $29.96.
