Job Summary

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for all administrative processing in regard to patient's personal and insurance information for a group of dialysis facilities. This individual cooperates and works closely with both internal and remote co-workers, possessing strong time management skills and the ability to complete assigned job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job appropriate judgement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process patient personal and insurance information for dialysis facilities
  • Cooperate with internal and remote co-workers to achieve administrative goals
  • Exercise strong time management skills and complete assigned job duties
  • Work closely with supervisory direction to achieve administrative objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Focus in Business or Healthcare Management preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in similar administrative setting
  • Combination of degree and work experience will be considered
  • Experience working with insurances to request authorization, submit appeals, and follow ups
  • Excellent customer service skills, team player with superior attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Work Schedule
