About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Social Media Marketing to oversee our daily social operations and IP promotions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting audience growth and engagement, and assisting with the operationalization of strategy campaigns and projects.

You will work closely with departments including brand management, editorial and multimedia, public relations, and more to deliver positive outcomes while maintaining a meaningful relationship with our audience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to drive engagement and growth
  • Overseeing and training social media team members to maximize their skills and potential
  • Creating and curating high-quality content for our social media channels
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to improve performance based on audience insights
  • Managing upper-funnel paid social media campaigns and region-specific programs

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about social media and has a deep understanding of the entertainment industry.

About You

We are excited about candidates who have:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media in entertainment, media, or related industries
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ direct reports
  • Experience leading successful and creative social media campaigns for global corporate brands
  • Experience with major social media platforms and best practices for tailoring content by platform to meet specific marketing goals
  • Experience managing and collaborating with social media marketing agencies
  • Experience implementing upper-funnel paid social media campaigns, including budget management, planning, and spend optimization
  • Proficient in using analytics to increase growth and develop content strategies
  • Experience interpreting and following brand guidelines precisely
  • Knowledge of internet culture and content trends
  • Familiarity with anime or adjacent fandom communities
