Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant/Clerical to join our team at Benevolent Hearts Home Care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating communications functions and providing clerical support to our business office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our team, including scheduling and coordination of tasks
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain effective communication systems to ensure seamless workflow
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff
Requirements
  • High School Graduate (College Preferred)
  • One year general office experience
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to type 40 to 50 WPM
  • Reliable transportation
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a routine office environment with moderate noise levels. The ability to work a flexible schedule and extended hours is required. Occasional travel locally and exposure to inclement weather may be necessary.

Physical and Mental Effort

The role requires prolonged sitting and some standing. Occasional lifting, pulling, carrying, and pushing of items weighing up to 50 pounds may be required. Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching while accessing files is also necessary. The ability to work under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and staff/patient needs is essential.
