Position Overview
You will take on the role of a seasoned program manager, tasked with the comprehensive oversight and integration necessary to balance various elements essential for establishing shipbuilding program priorities, milestones, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a principal advisor to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, providing expertise on all facets of program integration, planning, and strategic considerations.
- Guide Principal Assistant Program Managers and Project Managers in the development, organization, analysis, execution, and monitoring of planned requirements.
- Implement and oversee the application of overarching policies and regulations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and actionable outcomes.
- Act as the program office lead for all foreign military sales and international military interactions.
- Formulate program, budget, contract, and execution plans for the aircraft carrier New Construction Program.
- Prepare internal and external communications related to the New Construction program to effectively convey program requirements and manage projects.
- Advise on the application of ship/systems acquisition processes, policies, regulations, principles, and practices pertinent to all elements of program management.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New hires to the Department of the Navy must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to commencing duties.
- This position is governed by the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA), requiring certification in the assigned Acquisition Functional Area within specified timeframes.
- Travel may be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations, including remote or isolated sites, and candidates must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended durations.

Qualifications
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-03 or GS-13) in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector, coordinating program requirements or functions to support the planning and execution of acquisition processes, policies, or regulations related to aircraft carrier construction.
