Job Summary

The Claims Supervisor - Team Lead is a key member of the CorVel Corporation team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the claims department. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to ensure that all quality, productivity, and customer service criteria are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of claims staff, providing guidance and support to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate with the Claims Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve claims processing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with Workers' Compensation laws and regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying knowledge and expertise to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in claims management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
