Job Title: CAT Variable Resource Supervisor

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAT Variable Resource Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Property Discipline, you will be responsible for overseeing the CAT and Contingency Support of internal and external variable resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resource Development: Provide technical training and oversight of Independent Adjusters and Internal Variable CAT and Contingency support.
  • Best Practices/Customer Service: Ensure Best Practice, Compliance, and Customer Service results are met through appropriate coaching and development of Chubb standards.
  • Learning and Development: Identify skill/knowledge gaps of individuals and format appropriate training plans.
  • Claims Technical: Assist with technical items such as coverage questions, damage assessment, and reviewing/approving denial letters.
  • CAT Response and Logistics: Work closely with CAT and Property leaders to coordinate CAT response of variable and/or deployed resources.
  • Technology: Provide technical training on systems and estimate platforms.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate with CAT Leader, NDU/Field Property Leaders, and CTO team on training opportunities and ensure that our IA's and Variable Resources are operating in close coordination with Field Property/CAT/NDU teams.
  • Performance Management: Ensure performance management/quality of work measures are in place on key metrics for IA's serving on CB's response team.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in property discipline claim handling, including strong technical expertise and knowledge of Best Practices, Coverage, and Evaluation.
  • Able to coach and develop others and provide SMART feedback.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities, utilize technology, and manage workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft employee development plans/feedback.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and team/relationship oriented.
Special Requirements:
  • Preferred location open.
  • Business Travel up to 20% (depending on location and CAT activity).
  • Extended/Weekend hours during significant events, peak times, or reporting cycles.

The pay range for the role is $80,500 to $137,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
