We're seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our team at Vizient. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by maximizing contract utilization and building strategic relationships with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with senior account executives, suppliers, and distributors to move customers through the onboarding process.
  • Maximize contract utilization for existing clients by identifying areas for improvement and expansion through field and phone-based sales.
  • Support Senior Account Executives in revenue-generating activity.
  • Develop and implement sales initiatives within a defined territory.
  • Manage relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and vendors.
  • Conduct business reviews and attend strategic planning meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with supply partners to conduct joint sales calls to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience in sales or account management role required.
  • Strong analytical, customer service, presentation, and consultative selling skills required.
  • Experience working effectively with C-suites required.
  • Knowledge of GPO, supply chain, and non-acute pharmacy market preferred.
  • Sales pipeline development and management, and Salesforce experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $109,700.00. This position is also incentive eligible. Vizient has a comprehensive benefits plan. Please view our benefits here.
