Position Overview:
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience upon their arrival and departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing clear information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Manage the registration process by accurately entering guest information and confirming details such as room rates and guest numbers.
  • Handle financial transactions, including credit card processing and cash management, while maintaining an organized cash drawer.
  • Respond promptly to phone inquiries, taking messages and relaying information to guests as needed.
  • Facilitate guest check-out, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns that may arise.
  • Resolve guest complaints by conducting thorough investigations and offering effective solutions.
  • Maintain composure during busy periods and emergency situations, utilizing sound judgment and discretion.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and be available for regular shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role is advantageous.
  • Proficient in basic mathematical calculations and cash handling.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse customers, demonstrating patience and diplomacy.
  • Capable of standing and moving throughout the front office while performing essential job functions.
  • Familiarity with computer systems for data entry and information retrieval.
  • Adept at recognizing signs of emergency situations and responding appropriately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
