Deputy Manager
As a Deputy Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the team to drive the success of your Far West Services, LLC establishment. This position is a stepping stone towards becoming a future General Manager. You are expected to embody the company culture and be a dynamic team player who is dedicated to hard work, enjoyment, and the overall success of the brand. Qualifications/ Education/ Experience: A minimum of 2 years in food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory roles is preferred. Food Handler Certification is mandatory. At least 6 months of experience with computer and register (POS) systems. Adhere to operational policies and standards, ensuring quality food products, cash handling, and safety protocols. Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality. Flexible availability for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Summary of Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential functions include but are not limited to: Assisting the General Manager in achieving store objectives and supporting all positions as needed. Driving operational excellence by enhancing sales and managing labor and food costs during shifts. Ensuring a safe environment for both team members and customers; fostering a culture of respect and recognition. Maintaining composure during high-volume periods to uphold operational standards and set a positive example. Building strong relationships with team members by addressing their individual motivations and concerns. Delivering exceptional customer service by prioritizing guest needs and fostering connections. Assisting in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, scheduling, and assignment of team members alongside the General Manager. Following cash management policies and ensuring adherence to proper cash handling practices. Supporting the General Manager in inventory tracking, order management, and accurate record-keeping. Resolving guest issues promptly and positively. Upholding operational standards and addressing maintenance issues; ensuring effective communication across the organization. Utilizing company tools to mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance environment. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A genuine guest service mentality with a desire to serve. Maintaining a calm and tactful demeanor in challenging situations. Managing multiple projects with urgency and follow-through. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse team. Quick problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
