Job Overview

As a vital member of our team at Kositzka Wicks and Co, the Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing clerical tasks such as typing, copying, and scanning essential documents including tax returns and financial statements.
  • Managing the logging and scanning of client materials efficiently.
  • Handling Iron Mountain requests by retrieving and organizing boxes.
  • Overseeing inventory checks, product ordering, and unpacking deliveries.
  • Maintaining kitchen supplies and ensuring cleanliness by running the dishwasher.
  • Restocking copier stations and meeting rooms to ensure readiness for use.
  • Monitoring and managing the office inbox and outbox.
  • Distributing mail and managing shredding tasks.
  • Conducting occasional runs to the Post Office and handling bank deposits.
  • Troubleshooting issues with copiers and printers as they arise.
  • Setting up meeting rooms for staff gatherings.
  • Assisting with the handling and movement of office materials.
  • Providing various forms of office support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Axcess CCH/Wolters Kluwer products or similar tax preparation software is advantageous.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a CPA firm is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes and paperwork weighing up to 25 pounds.
