The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, and possess a genuine enthusiasm for the sport of pickleball.Key Responsibilities:
Membership Sales
- Address inquiries from potential members and provide comprehensive information about club activities, events, and offerings.
- Conduct facility tours and clarify membership options and advantages.
- Process membership applications, payments, and renewals efficiently.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and disseminate promotional materials and digital content.
- Participate in community events to enhance club visibility and attract new members.
- Work with club management to organize and promote special events, tournaments, and social gatherings.
Front Desk Management:
Ensure smooth operations at the front desk by checking members in, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Schedule court reservations and oversee court availability.
- Assist with equipment rentals and retail transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and social areas.
- Provide information regarding club events, programs, and tournaments.
- Support the coordination and scheduling of private lessons and clinics.
- Address customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate closely with the club management team to ensure seamless club operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Member Experience Ambassador:
- Ensure all members enjoy a tailored experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the courts, social area, member lounge, food & beverage area, and locker room.
- Assist in managing open play, leagues, and events.
- Support the use of ball machine rentals.
- Greet and bid farewell to members and guests with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred. 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, ideally in a sports or fitness context. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management software. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. A passion for pickleball and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of moving swiftly around the facility to assist members and guests. This position offers full-time or part-time opportunities, with potential for growth and advancement within the organization.
The Membership Services Associate will report to the Club General Manager and collaborate closely with other staff members to ensure an exceptional experience for all members and guests.
