At StretchLab Phoenix/Scottsdale, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Fitness Specialist to join our team. As a Fitness Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a love for boutique fitness environments and a passion for stretching, flexibility, and mobility. They will also possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a professional work ethic.
Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes to clients
- Encouraging and motivating clients throughout stretch sessions
- Building StretchLab membership and retaining current clientele
- Ensuring safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attending staff meetings and required educational presentations
- Handling member concerns when applicable
- Assisting sales associates and General Manager with studio tour, offsite events, and sales as needed
- Maintaining a strong social media presence to client membership and retention
- Cleaning and maintaining all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Qualifications include:
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- Certified Athletic Trainer, Personal Trainer, or Sports Coach
- Licensed Physical Therapist (or PT aid)
- Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor
- Kinesiology degree
- A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients
We offer a comprehensive training program, including 20 hours of online tutorials, 2 days of in-person/hands-on training, and 20 hours of practice. If you are passionate about helping others achieve their fitness goals and have a love for boutique fitness environments, we encourage you to apply.
