Job Title: Academic Program Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Program Specialist to join our team at the University of Southern California. As a key member of our academic programs team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our faculty and staff, as well as coordinating program logistics and events.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to faculty and staff, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence.
  • Coordinate program logistics, including event planning, budget management, and vendor coordination.
  • Assist with program development, including researching and recommending new programs, and coordinating with faculty and staff to develop program materials.
  • Provide customer service to students, faculty, and staff, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Manage program databases and websites, including updating content and ensuring accuracy.
  • Oversee faculty and student worker payroll, as well as manage program budgets and reconcile accounts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in higher education and/or customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of film/television production to support the courses where student-produced content is the focus.
