Academic Program Specialist

Join the University of Southern California as an Academic Program Specialist and contribute to the delivery of the four-year Physician-Citizen-Scholar curriculum. This role supports the Office of Curriculum, providing administrative and operational support to Associate/Assistant deans and faculty course directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage course scheduling, training, workshops, and skills assessments, ensuring seamless coordination and student/faculty participation.
  • Coordinate the production and dissemination of academic materials, including calendars and course schedules, and assist in revisions and edits.
  • Identify and assess curriculum concerns, facilitating appropriate intervention under faculty and staff leadership.
  • Participate in curriculum committee meetings, follow up on action items, and complete special projects.
  • Coordinate faculty meetings and training, and monitor student attendance at required sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Two years of work experience, with three years preferred.

The hourly rate range for this position is $31.80. The University of Southern California considers various factors when extending an offer of employment, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
