Position Overview

Lynn Community Health Center is seeking a skilled and committed Chief Operations Officer to lead our Integrated Specialty Care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the operations within the designated service line, contributing to strategic planning and the establishment of service line objectives, as well as resource allocation and equipment management.

  • Formulate and implement standardized operational policies and procedures to maintain uniformity and high-quality service across all teams.

  • Ensure the efficiency of daily operations by developing and executing best practices, while providing continuous support and guidance to local Operations Managers to meet operational targets and deliver exceptional care.

  • Prepare and oversee operational budgets for the service line, collaborating closely with local leadership, finance teams, and executive management to ensure financial health and compliance with funding models.

  • Conduct analyses and generate reports on operational activities, volume metrics, and financial performance; utilize this data to make informed forecasts and resource assessments.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities are required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and navigate within a complex, matrixed environment is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in healthcare operations, particularly in managing multiple teams within complex healthcare settings.
  • Experience in process improvement, data analysis, and system redesign is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, business and financial systems, and the development of relevant financial and business plans is preferred.
