Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Mount Olivet Rolling Acres is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health needs, in their daily lives.

Job Summary:

Our Direct Support Professionals assist clients with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, medical needs, and social activities. You will work closely with our clients to develop and implement personalized plans that promote their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily cares, medical needs, and supports
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to promote client independence and well-being
  • Provide social support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with daily routines, including hygiene, domestic tasks, and leisure activities
  • Plan and implement recreation, leisure, and community activities
  • Drive clients to appointments and community activities
  • Assist clients with establishing and maintaining community relationships
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental health needs
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and maintain qualified status
