Company Overview:

DesignBuild Search is collaborating with a prominent player in the retail industry. Due to exceptional growth, there is an opportunity for a motivated Quantity Surveyor within their Electric Vehicle division. The successful candidate will be stationed at the Glenrock, New Jersey office, gaining insights from industry experts.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, adaptable, and confident individual who excels in a dynamic environment and embraces a hands-on approach to their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively in the tender and bidding process, from initial documentation to comprehensive analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare and manage contract documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective collaboration with external design teams.
  • Facilitate program management through diligent contract administration from project inception to completion.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract cost management and procurement.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
