Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Generate and present comprehensive financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
    • Conduct thorough financial analyses to offer insights into the organization's financial health.
    • Oversee the preparation of management reports, ensuring timely delivery to executive leadership.
  • Budget Management:
    • Lead the development and oversight of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
    • Track budget variances and communicate significant discrepancies.
    • Provide financial projections to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Accounting Oversight:
    • Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Ensure the precise and timely processing of all financial transactions.
    • Establish and uphold internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Guarantee adherence to all relevant financial regulations at various governmental levels.
    • Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies that align with regulatory requirements.
  • Cash Flow Oversight:
    • Monitor and manage the organization's cash flow effectively.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure operational liquidity.
    • Oversee credit management and collections processes.
  • Project Financial Management:
    • Administer project accounting to ensure accurate cost distribution.
    • Oversee job costing and work-in-progress accounting.
    • Provide financial insights and support to project managers.
  • Leadership and Development:
    • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team.
    • Encourage a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
    • Facilitate training and professional development for team members.
Candidate Profile
  • Ideal candidates will possess a combination of construction project accounting and corporate finance experience, with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
