What We're Looking For

HNTB is a leading infrastructure consulting firm that delivers solutions for complex projects across the country. We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a New Grad Landscape/Urban Designer I.

This role entails assisting with landscape, urban, and environmental design services. You will support a variety of transportation-related design and planning work for major infrastructure projects, including roadway, bridge, park, and transit projects. You will apply established methodologies and procedures to perform assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and data collection to inform design decisions.
  • Assist in the development of conceptual, design development, and construction-level plans for urban design and landscape architecture using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
  • Assist in the production of 3D visualizations using the latest software.
  • Participate in stakeholder and public participation processes.
  • Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
  • Prior internship experience in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
