Crescent City Schools is seeking a highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Special Education department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing programs to support students with challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Collaborate with administrators and educators to design and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs and other evidence-based methodologies to address student needs.
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to support individual students.
- Staff Support: Provide training, coaching, and professional development to school staff on effective behavior interventions and strategies.
- Data Analysis: Design and implement data collection systems to track student progress and prepare reports to document case history, assessments, and treatment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with classroom teachers and instructional assistants to model effective behavioral and instructional programming.
- Education: Master's degree or higher in a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) approved field.
- Certification: BCBA Certified and/or Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
- Training: CPI training or willingness to be CPI-trained.
- Experience: Proven success working with students in urban settings and non-selective schools.
