Role Summary:

The Audit Associate is instrumental in carrying out audit assignments for our clientele. This role involves collaborating with senior associates and managers to conduct thorough audit processes, evaluate financial information, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of audit engagements, including conducting risk assessments and formulating audit strategies.
  • Prepare and organize audit documentation, ensuring compliance with established standards and methodologies.
  • Implement audit procedures as per the audit plan, focusing on internal controls, substantive testing, and analytical evaluations.
  • Record audit observations, discrepancies, and recommendations in well-structured working papers, engaging in discussions with senior team members.
  • Effectively communicate with clients to gather necessary information, clarify audit-related inquiries, and address any concerns.
  • Support the development of audit deliverables and presentations for client interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on accounting.
  • Completion of educational requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) necessary for CPA licensure eligibility.
  • Preferred accounting GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and quality in all work aspects.
