Patient Care Associate

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Spaulding Nursing & Therapy Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist registered nurses with clinical support functions to promote a safe and compassionate patient care environment.
- Provide patient physical care, including bed baths, toileting, grooming, and changing bed linen, as per established guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs and blood glucose levels, and perform other patient monitoring activities as required.
- Prepare patients for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to established standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recent experience and/or training in clinical patient care.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic skills in math and computer science.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
This role requires working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and other hazardous materials. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds is also required.
