We are excited to announce an opening for a dedicated pediatric plastic surgeon within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Our mission is to enhance patient outcomes through innovative research and exceptional clinical practices while fostering the educational development of our trainees.

This full-time role is a non-tenure track faculty position that emphasizes Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a focus on pediatric patients.

  • Educational Responsibilities: Participate in teaching across various aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, supervising resident clinics at our medical facilities.
  • Research Contributions: Spearhead clinical research projects in collaboration with medical students and residents, promoting evidence-based methodologies in pediatric plastic surgery and surgical education.
  • Service Engagement: Actively participate in departmental and institutional committees, as well as engage with regional and national professional organizations.
  • Clinical Duties: Oversee patient care for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery cases, focusing on pediatric and adult craniofacial interventions.

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Board certification or eligibility in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • Completion of a fellowship in pediatric plastic surgery, with a concentration on craniofacial surgery
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing service lines in pediatric plastic surgery, including wound management, soft tissue reconstruction, and cleft/craniofacial surgery
  • A commitment to resident education, clinical research, and promoting a diverse academic environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
