Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Payroll Specialist to join our team at RI Temps, Inc. in Providence, RI.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM with an estimated salary of $35 per hour based on 35 hours of work per week.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree in public administration, HR management, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a payroll function.

The Human Resources Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for assigned state departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The selected candidate will also audit timesheets and payroll records to verify proper application of time and attendance rules, overtime, and other compensation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with executing and developing department's internal payroll processes.
  • Serve as a resource to solve payroll-related requests, problems, and questions.
