Job Summary:

The Medical Practice Resource Specialist supports the day-to-day clinical and administrative workflow within a medical practice. This role is responsible for enhancing provider productivity, quality metrics, and customer service measures.

This position acts as a liaison between providers, support staff, and management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. The specialist will work with the practice to align CCHP services with entity policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribing during visits and huddles
  • Leading implementations and effectively communicating opportunities for growth and profitability
  • Supporting daily provider productivity goals
  • Ensuring quality metrics and customer service measures are met

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certification a plus
  • Two to Four years of relevant work experience in a medical/physician's office preferred
  • Skill in dealing with interpersonal issues and customer relations
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment including copier, fax machine, and computer

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge working with Athena EHR, Meditech, and GE Centricity

Working Conditions:

A general pleasant working environment with little or no distractions or exposure to unpleasant or hazardous elements. Duties require extensive mental and manual skills, with manual skills needed for activities such as utilizing a computer.
