Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred
  • A valid Safety and Security Training certification compliant with state regulations
  • CPR and First Aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Engaging with guests and staff in a courteous and service-oriented manner
  • Adhering to attendance policies as per the operational needs of the hotel
  • Upholding high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance
  • Following hotel protocols to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Managing communication via phone and radio with promptness and professionalism
  • Maintaining a visible presence in the lobby to monitor guest and staff interactions
  • Documenting daily activities and incidents accurately
  • Respecting confidentiality regarding guest and staff matters
  • Conducting briefings with Guest Services at the start and end of shifts
  • Monitoring access to secured areas and verifying identification as needed
  • Understanding legal limitations relevant to the role
  • Assisting guests with room access and inquiries
  • Responding to incidents such as theft or disturbances, and collaborating with management to complete reports
  • Providing support to external agencies when required
  • Offering assistance during medical emergencies, including administering First Aid
  • Conducting regular safety checks throughout the property
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management
