Job Summary

The Public Safety Department at Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Patrol Officer to join our team. As a key member of our public safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate crimes and other incidents, and take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Make arrests and prepare complaints for the courts as necessary.
  • Assist with the escorting of deceased patients and provide safety escorts as needed.
  • Observe and detain patients who are in crisis and require special services.
  • Investigate suspicious individuals or situations, and take appropriate action to ensure public safety.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field, with the ability to obtain a degree within three years of start date.
  • Two years of prior law enforcement experience or two years of military experience with an honorable discharge preferred.
  • One year of experience in security, loss prevention, or criminal justice strongly preferred.
