Lead Analog IC Layout Engineer

Position Summary:
The Analog Devices Platform IP group is in search of a proficient analog IC layout design engineer. This role is pivotal in transferring and developing strategic Intellectual Property (IP) that will be utilized across various business sectors and product opportunities within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine block floorplans, subsystem designs, and chip-level layouts.
- Conduct physical verification processes including LVS, DRC, Density, Extraction, and EM.
- Collaborate closely with Analog Designers to address complex design challenges.
- Establish project timelines and monitor progress effectively.
- Enhance layout practices and procedures, sharing knowledge within the engineering community.
- A minimum of a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IC layout design.
- Proficient in analog and mixed-signal layout techniques, with hands-on experience using Cadence Layout tools (Virtuoso) and Mentor Graphics verification systems (Calibre).
- Experience with low process technology nodes and techniques to mitigate layout parasitic effects.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within multi-site teams.
- Experience in the layout/physical design of various circuit types, including ADCs, DACs, LDOs, PLLs, VCOs, and amplifiers.
- Familiarity with common circuit layout practices such as matching techniques and ESD/Latch-up mitigation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of Cadence SKILL is a plus.
