Senior Product Applications Engineer

Analog Devices is seeking a highly skilled Product Applications Engineer to join our Aerospace, Defense and RF Products Group (ADEF). As a key member of our team, you will work closely with IC design, SW development, product engineering, marketing, and field applications engineers to enable customers to move fast from evaluation to prototyping with ultra-wideband transceiver designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop solution platforms for application investigations, product evaluation, demonstration systems, and reference designs for ADEF and Instrumentation markets.
- Collaborate with product and SW development teams on requirements for future products and systems.
- Write code to test and debug ultra-wideband transceiver product evaluation systems using lab test equipment.
- Guide customers to integrate and troubleshoot software and hardware on ADI evaluation systems and customer systems.
- Develop technical collateral, including application notes, technical articles, and datasheets, to describe silicon functionality, firmware, and software operation to customers.
- Support customers by phone, email, and on-site visits to present information, answer questions, and debug customer issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical and/or computer engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong engineering background with a proven understanding of first principles and deep expertise in complex system development.
- Strong coding and programming skills in C/C++, Python, or Matlab.
- Strong fundamentals in high-speed data converters, radio signal chain, and hardware/software interaction.
- Experience with phase array radar, EW, or instrumentation system design and architecture is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging expertise, with a track record of institutionalizing root-cause analysis.
- Able to multitask in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- US Citizenship or Green card required.
Travel Required: Maybe, 10% of the time.
