Analog Devices, a global semiconductor leader, is seeking an experienced Engineer to join our MEMS Group in Wilmington, MA. As a key member of our team, you will focus on supporting our extensive portfolio of System level products (IMUs) based on MEMS sensors. Your primary responsibilities will include interacting with our assembly and test teams, leading customer engagement, and proactively seeking product, process, and quality improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Characterize and validate sensing systems, including theory of operation, fabrication, packaging, and design trade-offs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot product malfunctions, and communicate findings and solutions.
  • Develop and implement process and product improvements.
  • Work in a dynamic environment and respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, including designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting test boards, electronic interfaces, and measurement systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience with inertial sensor technologies, including accelerometers, gyroscopes, and IMUs.
  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or closely related fields.
  • Experience in programming in Visual Basic, MATLAB, and LabVIEW, and familiarity with programming electronic interfaces with test equipment and data acquisition instrumentation.
  • Experience with test equipment, such as vibration test systems, shock testers, laser doppler vibrometers, centrifuges, thermal chambers, or other similar test capabilities.
