  • Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, following proper sanitation and food handling procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest pastry trends and techniques, continuously researching and developing new and innovative recipes to enhance the guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments, including the front of house team, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end or luxury setting, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, with a deep understanding of baking techniques and ingredients.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients, with the ability to create and decorate visually appealing pastries and desserts.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills, able to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
