Position Summary

The Oracle Techno-Functional Analyst will play a crucial role in executing technical tasks related to Data Migration, Integration (both inbound and outbound), PaaS Extensions, and Reporting within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Platform. This position supports the comprehensive suite of Oracle Cloud solutions in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution, Planning, and Financials. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in Oracle Cloud ERP/EBS and be capable of translating business needs into effective technical solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a Technical Analyst for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, overseeing scoping, planning, requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads and business stakeholders to align objectives and processes, enhancing application effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and security vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor integrations, ensuring successful operation.
  • Create and deploy extensions within Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications as necessary.
  • Generate and implement reports based on business and IT functional requirements.
  • Assist in designing application architecture to support end-to-end processes across multiple business applications, focusing on scalability and security.
  • Propose new functionalities and enhancements for existing solutions, managing evaluation, scoping, testing, approval, and deployment.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with change management protocols and regulations (SOX, GxP, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Support compliance activities related to FDA standards.
  • Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures for business applications.
  • Engage with third-party vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and delivery.
  • Address user inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Develop and deliver training and documentation for end users as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in an IT environment.
  • 10+ years of experience with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) in a technical development role, with a strong foundation in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Java, etc.
  • Experience in personalizing Oracle Cloud/EBS.
  • Integration experience with platforms such as OIC, Oracle SOA, Boomi, and Workato.
  • Proven ability to build extensions in Oracle Cloud Applications using DFF, EFF, Groovy Scripts, Infolets, Page Composer, and Application Composer.
  • Experience in data migration from legacy systems to Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud.
  • Familiarity with FBDI templates.
  • Experience with OCR technologies like WebCenter and Coupa is highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing and architecting PaaS applications (e.g., Java CS, APEX CS, Visual Builder).
  • Thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud Roles and Data Security Privileges for creating custom roles and troubleshooting access issues.
  • Experience implementing EDI integration with third-party applications.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP based API/Web Services integration.
  • Strong background in BI/OTBI report development.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols, data security, and encryption.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective communication at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in a SCRUM or Agile environment is desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Experience in FDA regulated environments is a plus.
