Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the operational and financial performance of regional plant operations, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic goals, customer strategy, and product strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee daily monitoring and follow-up on key operational metrics, including quality, materials management, safety, and planning, to maximize plant performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within plant operations and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement and technology initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Develop and execute an effective inventory management strategy to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and proactive culture within the plants, encouraging engagement and collaboration among plant teams, and establish and lead weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings to ensure full engagement and effective monitoring of key operational elements.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report weekly to the VP of Manufacturing on macro-level KPIs, key actions, updates on strategic initiatives, safety, customer concerns, operational changes, and financial initiatives/challenges.
Qualifications
  • Operational Experience: Proven experience in managing plant operations, with a strong focus on financial and operational performance.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and technology initiatives, and strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a collaborative and goal-oriented culture.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and manage risk.
