We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Verizon. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales leads, developing and delivering solutions that meet the needs of our clients, and nurturing established connections to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and Pursue New Sales Leads: Utilize your consulting skills and sales experience to identify potential customers and develop strategies to engage with them.
  • Develop and Deliver Solutions: Work with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs, leveraging the benefits of our suite of products and services.
  • Nurture Established Connections: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
  • Forecast and Track Sales: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure Customer Training: Work with our clients to ensure they are properly trained on our products and services, ensuring they are able to maximize their value.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Relevant Work Experience: Four or more years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field is required.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to work in a mobile environment, with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory expected to be up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business: A degree in marketing, communications, or business is preferred.
  • Experience in Account Management: Experience in account management roles, either in an external or internal agency, is preferred.
  • Experience in Corporate Account Management: Experience working with internal corporate account teams is preferred.
  • Experience in Managing Brand Portfolios: Experience managing brand portfolios and pitching for new business is preferred.
  • Experience in Digital Channels: Experience working in digital channels is preferred.
  • Ability to Write Briefs: Ability to write briefs and work closely with all disciplines within the agency and clients is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management Software: Experience in project management software, such as Microsoft Office, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Best Practices: Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields is preferred.
  • Ability to Partner with Clients: Ability to partner with clients to write thorough and actionable creative briefs is preferred.
