We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Verizon. Key Responsibilities- Identify and Pursue New Sales Leads: Utilize your consulting skills and sales experience to identify potential customers and develop strategies to engage with them.
- Develop and Deliver Solutions: Work with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs, leveraging the benefits of our suite of products and services.
- Nurture Established Connections: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our products and services.
- Forecast and Track Sales: Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure Customer Training: Work with our clients to ensure they are properly trained on our products and services, ensuring they are able to maximize their value.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: A bachelor's degree or four or more years of relevant work experience is required.
- Relevant Work Experience: Four or more years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field is required.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to work in a mobile environment, with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory expected to be up to 50% of the time.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business: A degree in marketing, communications, or business is preferred.
- Experience in Account Management: Experience in account management roles, either in an external or internal agency, is preferred.
- Experience in Corporate Account Management: Experience working with internal corporate account teams is preferred.
- Experience in Managing Brand Portfolios: Experience managing brand portfolios and pitching for new business is preferred.
- Experience in Digital Channels: Experience working in digital channels is preferred.
- Ability to Write Briefs: Ability to write briefs and work closely with all disciplines within the agency and clients is preferred.
- Experience in Project Management Software: Experience in project management software, such as Microsoft Office, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Marketing Best Practices: Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields is preferred.
- Ability to Partner with Clients: Ability to partner with clients to write thorough and actionable creative briefs is preferred.
