Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. such as cutting, trimming, sweeping and cleaning.
  • Oversee Housekeeping & Laundry personnel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Work with plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems, including replacing bulbs, cleaning windows, and assisting others in lifting heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Service heating and cooling units/systems, coordinating daily maintenance services with nursing services when performing routine assignments in resident living areas.
  • Evaluate and address any maintenance issues promptly, ensuring the facility and its equipment are properly maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of maintenance supervisory experience within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with boilers, compressors, generators, and various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to minimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipment.
