Role Summary

The Financial Business Partner will act as the main strategic finance advisor to the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate will implement a structured financial review process, manage the annual budgeting cycle, oversee quarterly financial projections, and guide the leadership team in making informed, data-driven decisions. This role will also involve identifying critical strategic challenges and conducting in-depth analyses to uncover opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary strategic finance advisor to the VP of Finance.
  • Implement a structured financial review and accountability process across the organization.
  • Manage the annual budgeting cycle effectively.
  • Oversee and refine financial forecasting processes.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of existing financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Guide the VP and team members in leveraging strategic insights to enhance performance.
  • Identify key strategic challenges and conduct analyses to support decision-making.
  • Provide comprehensive analysis and oversight of financial performance metrics.
  • Support other finance team members by disseminating information and enhancing reporting efficiencies.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other finance professionals to implement best practices in financial reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a business partnering role with a focus on strategic finance.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Solid understanding of business operations and their financial implications.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and BI reporting tools is preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
