- Oversee telecommunications and field operations to ensure adherence to service prioritization and emergency response protocols.
- Execute priority surveillance tasks, particularly in situations involving officer safety or ongoing criminal activities.
- Evaluate patrol activities to ensure alignment with crime prevention strategies and respond to emerging crime trends.
- Monitor real-time responses to public safety incidents by field units.
- Integrate and assess various types of information from investigative and operational activities to generate actionable leads.
- Analyze resource utilization metrics and crime prevention efforts to determine effectiveness and sufficiency.
- Perform additional related duties as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Information Management Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with crime prevention strategies and emergency response operations.
- Proficiency in computer systems utilized for monitoring police operations and data analysis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for preparing reports and findings for command-level officers.
- Ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Capability to represent the organization in interactions with law enforcement and intelligence community counterparts.
Physical Requirements:
- The physical demands of this position require the ability to perform essential job functions, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
- Regular tasks include verbal communication, auditory processing, and operation of computer systems.
