We are seeking a skilled Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team at Holtec Security International. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing various facts and evidence related to crimes, and providing logical and related frameworks for further investigation.
Key Responsibilities- Virtually patrol public spaces to identify and report suspicious activity, crime, and other conditions of interest.
- Process alarm signals quickly and accurately, adhering to established protocols.
- Dispatch the proper authorities and verify that help is on the way.
- Communicate situational awareness and virtual patrol observations to field units.
- Evaluate activities to ensure crime prevention efforts are consistent with plans and expectations.
- Generate virtual directed patrol computer-aided dispatch (CAD) tickets for assignments.
- Complete tasks related to video archiving for investigative, evidentiary, and regulatory compliance purposes.
- Accurately document responses and actions for alarms and video evidence in account records.
- High School Diploma or GED, Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience in a call/monitoring center role.
- Experience with alarm monitoring software (MKS or Honeywell) preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
- Ability to communicate in writing to effectively prepare findings and create reports.
