Senior Operations Coordinator

The Senior Operations Coordinator will assist with the oversight of production operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks. This role requires strong mechanical skills, advanced math and computer skills, and the ability to work effectively with Production Supervisors and Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shift turnover with Production Supervisors.
- Assist with personnel coordination to ensure efficient job placement.
- Develop and implement work instructions based on Supervisors' recommendations.
- Monitor production work requests and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and verify witness inspection and hold points.
- Coordinate material paperwork and tagging procedures.
- Assist with quality control and fabrication procedures.
- Track material moves and assist with material handling.
- Conduct safety walkthroughs with Supervisors to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Shop Managers, Supervisors, Product Line Managers, and Quality Assurance to ensure quality, production, and safety standards are met.
- Assist QA with tracking rework, non-conforming conditions, and deviation reports.
Physical Demands & Abilities:
- This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, talk, and hear. The associate may be exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
- This role can be physically demanding and may require the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Nuclear preferred) or similar degree.
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to read blueprints.
