Job Summary

The Associate Director of Finance and Administration will provide strategic leadership and management of financial and administrative functions for Stanford ChEM-H. This role will oversee the finance and administrative team, ensuring the effective management of resources, budget planning, and financial forecasting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the finance and administrative team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the financial sustainability of the institute.
  • Oversee the management of grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with institutional and external requirements.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on human resources, property management, space planning, and IT systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience in administrative and financial management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Strong financial expertise, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and grants management.
  • Experience with human resources, property management, space planning, and IT systems.
