Summary

The primary duties of a Surveyor involve conducting site assessments across various locations and generating detailed maps and reports for our concrete paving initiatives and related projects. Candidates should be prepared for extensive travel to diverse sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform surveys on infrastructure such as roadways, airfields, and military installations, ensuring the accuracy of data through thorough examination of historical records.
  • Develop and implement innovative survey methodologies.
  • Utilize advanced tools and equipment to measure land characteristics accurately.
  • Create comprehensive maps, sketches, and diagrams.
  • Collaborate closely with construction teams.
  • Provide mentorship and support to field personnel.
  • Compile survey findings and present them to project stakeholders.
  • Work in conjunction with engineers and architects to facilitate project success.
  • Assist project management with various operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 0-3 years of experience in surveying or a related field.
  • Familiarity with GPS and Total Station technology is advantageous.
  • Possession of necessary certifications for construction site work is mandatory.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Capability to obtain clearance for restricted areas.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry at least 75 lbs, and perform various physical tasks.
